What a way to kick off a new month. March opens with one of the most powerful weeks of the year as we head straight into a Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, a Mars sign change, a Venus sign change, and a Mercury Retrograde Cazimi all in the span of seven days. The universe is asking you to release what no longer serves you and step into the next version of yourself. Leo energy is about self expression and owning who you are without apology. Before eclipse week begins in full force, take today to celebrate yourself. What makes you feel alive? What lights you up? Write it down because this is the energy you want to carry into the week ahead. The more anchored you are in your own light, the easier it will be to release what dims it during the eclipse.

Moon enters Virgo at 4:34 AM PT | Mars enters Pisces at 6:26 AM PT

Today the energy shifts as the Moon moves into Virgo, setting the stage for tomorrow's Total Lunar Eclipse. Virgo asks us to look at our daily habits, our routines, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and what we are capable of. Where has your inner dialogue been working against you? Where have you been picking yourself apart instead of building yourself up? Start noticing these patterns today because the eclipse is going to ask you to let them go.

Mars also enters Pisces today, bringing a wave of emotional energy and spiritual motivation. Mars in Pisces is the spiritual warrior. Instead of charging forward with brute force, this Mars asks you to lead with intuition and trust the flow. If you feel more emotional than usual this week, know that it is Mars in Pisces amplifying everything you are feeling so you can process it and move through it.

Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo at 3:33 AM PT

This is the main event of the week and one of the most powerful eclipses of the year. This Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo at 12º is the continuation of the Pisces/Virgo eclipse cycle that began in 2024, and it is asking you to release the patterns of self criticism, perfectionism, and negative self talk that have been holding you back. Virgo at its highest expression is about sacred service and practical magic. At its shadow, it is the voice in your head that says you are not good enough, not ready enough, not perfect enough. Today that voice gets quieter. Today you choose to release it.

This eclipse is happening while Mercury is retrograde in Pisces, adding an extra layer of emotional processing and spiritual review. You might have dreams that feel significant. You might receive messages or memories from the past that suddenly make sense in a new way. Pay attention to everything coming through because the universe is communicating with you.

Today, we get one of the most supportive aspects of the week as the Sun in Pisces trines Jupiter retrograde in Cancer. This is an expansion aspect that opens the door to abundance, especially in the areas of home, family, emotional security, and spiritual growth. Jupiter in Cancer has been expanding our capacity to nurture ourselves and others, and today the Sun illuminates what is possible when we believe in the best outcome. After the release of the eclipse, today is about seeing the space that has been created and filling it with something beautiful. What do you want to call in now that you have let go of what was weighing you down?

Venus enters Aries at 2:46 AM PT | Moon enters Scorpio at 8:02 PM PT

Venus moves into Aries today, bringing fire and passion to our relationships, our values, and our sense of self worth. Venus in Aries knows what it wants and is not afraid to go after it. If you have been holding back in love, in business, or in how you show up in the world, Venus in Aries is here to give you the courage to make a move. This is bold, confident, independent energy. What would you do if you were not waiting for permission? Do that.

The Moon also enters Scorpio tonight, deepening the emotional energy as we close out the week. Scorpio invites us to go beneath the surface and look at the truth of things. Combined with Venus entering Aries, this is a powerful evening for getting honest about what you truly desire.

Mercury Retrograde conjunct Sun in Pisces (Mercury Cazimi) at 3:03 AM PT | Moon in Scorpio

We close out the week with a Mercury Retrograde Cazimi, which is one of the most magical moments of any Mercury retrograde cycle. A cazimi happens when Mercury meets the Sun at the exact same degree, and it is like a beam of light cutting through the fog of retrograde. This cazimi happens at 16 degrees Pisces, and it may bring a sudden moment of clarity, a download of intuitive wisdom, or a message that helps everything click into place. If you have been confused, uncertain, or revisiting old decisions during this retrograde, today might be the day when you finally see the bigger picture. Keep a journal close by because you are going to want to capture whatever comes through.
