Freelance Conversion Copywriter

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Conversion Copywriter to join our marketing team. This contracted position is perfect for someone with experience creating compelling direct-response copy, with a focus on writing effective upsell funnels for course memberships and subscriptions and upsell funnels for complimentary products post-purchase. If you have a proven track record of increasing email conversions through nurture sequences and one-off campaign series, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write upsell funnels to enhance the conversion rates for course memberships and subscription services.
  • Write engaging email nurture sequences that effectively guide users through the customer journey, offering complimentary products.
  • Write compelling one-off campaigns that align with strategic marketing goals.
  • Ensure all copy is consistent with the Spirit Daughter brand voice and resonates deeply with our target audience, weaving storytelling into every piece.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in direct response/conversion copywriting, specifically in creating upsell funnels and nature sequences.
  • Strong ability to write in a brand’s voice with a knack for engaging and persuasive storytelling.
  • Excellent understanding of email marketing strategies and conversion metrics.
  • Experience in personal development, self-growth industries, or similar fields. Knowledge of astrology is a significant plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.

Illustrator Role

Illustration Creation:

  • Generate at least four original illustrations per month for use on our social media platforms (Instagram primarily).
  • Create visually compelling illustrations for our monthly editorial workbooks, incorporating themes related to spirituality, astrology, and wellness.

 

Brand Alignment: 

  • Understand and embody the Spirit Daughter brand ethos, ensuring that all illustrations reflect our values and resonate with our target audience.
  • Work closely with the creative team to maintain consistency in style, color palette, and branding across all illustrations.

 

Execution and Delivery:

  • Utilize digital illustration software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, to create high-quality illustrations that meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure that all illustrations are delivered on time and adhere to project specifications and requirements.
  • Working closely with our graphic designer to ensure illustrations can be used in a variety of digital and editorial spaces.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to iterate on designs and explore different approaches to achieve the desired visual outcome.
  • Review final illustrations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines before submission.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in various illustration styles.
  • Proficiency in digital illustration software, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, receiving and implementing feedback effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and concepts visually.
  • Passion for spirituality, astrology, and wellness, with a deep understanding of related themes and symbolism.

Part-Time Contracted Position |  Based per piece/ project.
